Our craft is full of stupid, nutty boasting. Examples: I can build that highboy in a weekend. I can cut faster than a table saw. I can eat more pie than you.
But one of the boasts that gets the most eye-rolling is this: I can cut mouldings faster than you can set up your router.
This one I actually believe.
There are some mouldings that I make all the time. I use a 3/41 cm bead between my backboards. For small cases, I use a 1/10cm ovolo. The plinth connects to the main carcase. Now I have a

Today, I was shaping the apron for a table I am building. I took video of the process from the moment I grabbed the jack plane to the time that I set the moulding plane down.
And there is no sanding. This moulding can be finished immediately.
